• Teen arrested in car shooting death that killed 1

    LANCASTER, S.C. (AP) - A 16-year-old has been arrested in a car shooting in South Carolina that left one man dead and a woman wounded.

    Local media reported that police in Lancaster arrested the teen and charged him with murder and attempted murder.

    Sheriff Barry Faile said 30-year-old Vincent Barry Lambert Jr. died in the May 10 shooting in Kershaw. Faile says the woman is expected to recover. A 4-year-old child in the car was not hurt.

    The names of the woman and child have not been released.

    The sheriff said the teen was not alone when the shooting occurred. The sheriff said his department is pursuing other suspects.

    The teen is being held at a juvenile prison in Columbia.
