• Channing Tatum revs up the action at Charlotte Motor Speedway

Actor Channing Tatum, star of the “Magic Mike” and “Jump Street” franchises, will serve as Grand Marshall of the Coca-Cola 600 on May 28 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Tatum will give the command to start engines for the 58th running of the Coca-Cola 600, NASCAR’s only 600-mile race.

The actor is no stranger to Charlotte Motor Speedway, having spent considerable time at the speedway last year during filming for “Logan Lucky.” In fact, the plot of “Logan Lucky” revolves around the speedway.

Trying to reverse a family curse, brothers Jimmy (Tatum) and Clyde Logan (Adam Driver) set out to execute an elaborate robbery during the legendary Coca-Cola 600.

The film also stars Riley Keough, Hilary Swank, Seth MacFarlane, Katie Holmes and Daniel Craig and is scheduled to be released on Aug. 18.
