• University Wine Fest to feature 100+ wines

    Updated:

University City’s scenic lake and charming boardwalk at the Shoppes at University Place will be the location for the inaugural University City Wine Fest, happening Saturday, April 22.

More than 100 wines from over 25 wineries will be available to sample while you stroll the boardwalk and enjoy live music and entertainment.

Whether you’re a seasoned expert or an intrigued beginner, wineries and winery representatives will welcome you as they share their knowledge along with samples of their art. Meet these experts and learn the story of their wines.

General admission tickets cost $35 and include four hours of unlimited wine tastings and a festival souvenir sampling glass.

The festival runs from 2 – 6 p.m. and is open to ages 21 and older (no children will be admitted).

The Shoppes at University Place are located on the corner of W.T. Harris Blvd. and North Tryon St., in northeast Charlotte.
