• It's all fun and games at Cabarrus County Fair


    The 65th annual Cabarrus County Fair happens Sept. 8-16 at the Cabarrus Arena & Events Center.

    The fair is full of family-friendly entertainment and events including tons of rides on the Midway, a petting zoo, pig races, live music, performances from a chainsaw carving artist and more!

    There will be plenty of food vendors on site too offering fair favorites like cotton candy, funnel cakes, turkey legs, roasted corn and more.

    The Cabarrus Arena & Events Center is located at 4759 N.C. Hwy 49 North in Concord, N.C. (GPS address: 4551 Old Airport Road) 

    The fair is open 4 - 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 4 - 11 p.m. on Friday; 1 - 11 p.m. on Saturday; and 1 - 10 p.m. on Sunday.

    Admission prices at the gate: ages 5 and under are free; $3.25 ages 6-11; $7.50 ages 12 and older; $5.35 seniors (ages 65 and older) and military with ID. (Sales tax included.) 

    Ride ticket pricing varies. 

    Ways to save
    Saturday, Sept. 9 get free general gate admission during the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony from 1 – 3 p.m.
    Sunday, Sept. 10 get free general gate admission with the donation of four (4) canned food items for adults and two (2) for children during the CCM Canned Food Drive from 1 – 3 p.m. 
    Tuesday, Sept. 12 receive $1 off general gate admission when you show off your school spirit by wearing your favorite grade school to college attire. 
    Thursday, Sept. 14 seniors 65 years and older will be admitted for $4 from 4 – 6 p.m.
    Friday, Sept. 8 and Friday, Sept. 15 bring your high school football ticket stub after the game to get free admission.
