• Expect legendary laughs at Steve Martin, Martin Short comedy show

    Updated:

Comedy veterans Steve Martin and Martin Short will bring their tour, “An Evening You Will Forget for the Rest of Your Life,” to Charlotte’s Ovens Auditorium Saturday, April 22.

The show will feature stand-up, film clips, musical numbers and a little two-way roasting from what we hear.

The comedians will be joined by the Grammy-winning Steep Canyon Rangers, a bluegrass band from Brevard, N.C., that Martin performs with often.

Pianist/keyboardist Jeff Babko, a band member on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” will also accompany the pair for parts of the show.

Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $80 and are available through Ticketmaster.com.

Ovens Auditorium is located at 2700 E. Independence Blvd.
