Life In The Arctic This Week

Category 4 Hurricane in November Unusual But Not Unheard Of

Arctic air is here and we're only going to get more of it.

And we'll be in the record books because of it.

We may not hit individual record lows this week. We've hit 20 degrees before in November. But its not the days of cold we're looking at - we're looking at the week of cold weather. This week we'll have at least seven mornings of subfreezing temperatures.

Did you know this will be the coldest November stretch of mornings in over 50 years? If we add more next week, we'll certainly be in the records.
