Deputies Search For Gunman In Cabarrus County Shooting

CONCORD, N.C. -- Deputies are investigating an early morning shooting in Cabarrus County.It happened just before 3 a.m. Monday near the intersection of Highway 601 on the south side of Concord.Authorities said a man was shot at his home. Eyewitness News is working to learn the victim’s condition. During the investigation, authorities closed Highway 601 until 5:20 a.m.Deputies used tracking dogs to try and find clues leading to the shooter.So far, no arrests have been made and authorities have not released a suspect description.
