LANCASTER, S.C. -- A home in Lancaster is now a total loss after it caught fire Sunday morning.Fire officials said it started just after 10 a.m. on Reeves Road. Four different fire departments were called to the scene. An Eyewitness News crew at the scene said there was some roof damage and damage to the area where firefighters had to go in. The home was considered a total loss, since it was an older building from the 1950s.Crews said the family renting the home was not there when the fire started. The family was at church when someone called them and told them their house was on fire.Investigators told Eyewitness News that they do not believe this fire is related to the arsons at the Lancaster courthouse or the prosecutor’s office earlier this year. They said they believe this fire might have been accidental.
