CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Police investigated a double shooting early Saturday morning at an apartment complex in north Charlotte.

Investigators said two men were shot at about 3:45 a.m. at the Lanier Apartments on Carmine Street.

Medic transported both men to the hospital, but police said their injuries do not appear life-threatening.

Investigators have not said what led to the shootings or if this was related to two people who were stabbed in the same neighborhood last Saturday.
