    Carolina Harbor Waterpark at Carowinds, N.C./S.C. border
    Carolina Harbor Waterpark landed on USA Today’s Top 10 list of Best Outdoor Waterparks, ranking fourth. The park features more than a dozen water adventures, including its main attraction — the six-story waterslide complex, Blackbeard’s Revenge! website

    Fantasy Lake Waterpark, Hope Mills, N.C. (near Fayetteville)
    Fantasy Lake is based out of a six acre manmade lake with a clean white sand bottom surrounded by white sand beaches. There are dozens of activities in and out of the water to enjoy. website

    Lion’s Water Adventure, Kinston, N.C.
    You’ll find waterslides, a kiddie lagoon and a lazy river at Lion’s Water Adventure. They also have the Bojo Bungalow, a two-level pavilion that provides a shady place to sit and watch the lazy river, or, from the upper level, view the whole park. website
