From April to October, Charlotte’s two amphitheaters are where you can catch your favorite artists under the stars.
The Charlotte Metro Credit Union Amphitheatre (formerly Uptown Amphitheatre) is located at the AvidXchange Music Factory (1000 North Carolina Music Factory Blvd.) and is a great place to catch a show. The venue has a capacity of 5,000 with 2,000 reserved seats and a general admission lawn area.
The larger PNC Music Pavilion (formerly Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre), is located in University City at 707 Pavilion Blvd. The venue’s capacity is almost 19,000, offering approximately 8,614 reserved theater-style seats and over 10,000 spaces on the lawn.
Generally, blankets and lawn chairs are permitted for most shows for lawn ticket holders.
